Value Focussed Natural Resource Investors.

Australian based specialist investment group focused on the energy and resources sectors. Our goal is to deliver strong, long-term returns to our investors while fostering growth for our portfolio companies.

Metals and mining have always served as the foundation for innovation and growth for civilisation, playing a vital role in the energy transition and supporting global industrialisation and decarbonisation.

Norfolk Capital Management leans into this thesis, as an investment firm predominantly focused on critical minerals and natural energy resources. We are active, long-term partners established to facilitate growth for our portfolio companies and deliver robust returns for our investors.

We are committed to high-conviction investments with quality assets, businesses and management, leveraging our relationships, technical skillsets and operational expertise.

Investment Mandate
Notwithstanding its focus on energy and resources, the Fund has an otherwise flexible mandate. Certain factors will influence investment decision making, however the Fund is agnostic regarding:

  • Market capitalisation.
  • Jurisdiction.
  • Mining lifecycle stage.
  • Commodity type.
  • Upstream, midstream and downstream focus.
  • Securities exchange.
  • Listed and unlisted.

Investing Approach
The Fund employs a comprehensive investment approach that integrates both bottom-up and top-down due diligence methodologies to identify high-quality investment opportunities. This dual approach enables us to balance individual asset and company analysis with broader macro and market trends, ensuring informed decision-making and appropriate risk management.

Areas of Focus
It is highly unlikely that we can move away from a carbon-intensive world without significant investment in the mining of critical minerals and naturally energy sources. The Norfolk Resources Fund has a strategy to capitalise on this proposition and generate long-term returns for its investors.
